First of all we looked at a simple quick up do that would be ideal for weddings, proms and catwalk. Learning a quick up do is helpful if you are required to work on a lot of models in a short space of time.
We learnt a simple chignon.
Start by parting the hair in the middle or on the side, depending on where the models natural hair flowed. It helps to follow the natural parting to save time on using a hairdryer which can change the natural fall of the hair.
Section off the front sections of the hair, using the guide from behind the ear. Once those sections are neat, tie off the rest of the hair into a low ponytail. A low ponytail is important because the chignon will be pinned higher up on the head.
Slightly backcomb the ponytail to add some padding and fold it upwards. Pin each side on the bend using a bobby pin
Next I added some pretty hair pins which could be ideal for a wedding or prom.
Then I took the sides down added some ribbon.
Added one more pretty clip.
I then changed the style completely and added this gorgeous head piece with some clips at the back.
