As I mentioned in my mood board post, I am basing my look on the Modern Muse Perfume bottle. With a gold smokey eye and light pink lip, these two colours really compliment each other.

- Prepare the skin with Garnier Micellar Water and Estee Lauder Daywear moisturiser.
- Apply MAC Primer all over the face.
- Match a foundation colour to the skin (maybe mix two together) and buff into the skin using a buffing brush.
- Using the Bobbi Brown palette conceal blemishes and dark under eye circles.
- Shade in the eyebrows with Benefit BrowZing's.
- Using a flat brush apply the shade 'Naked' all over the eyelid.
- Then take 'Half Baked' and 'Smog' together and pat this on top. This will give the eye a lovely golden shimmer.
- Using a pointed brush, apply this under the eye on the water line as well.
- Use the MAC NC55 Powder to contour the face - under the cheekbones, down the sides of the nose and on the jaw line.
- Highlight with the MAC Lightscapade - down the nose and on the cheekbones.
- Add a tough of blusher on the apples of the cheeks.
- Apply the Estee Lauder Lipstick in Potent all over the lips.
Hair Charts
As the make-up is quite bold, I decided to opt for a sleek ponytail. Sleek straight hair looks so neat and classic with a beautiful make-up.
Step by step
Products
- Hairdryer
- Denham Brush
- Paddle Brush
- Straightners
- Bobby Pins
- Water Spray
- Hair band
- Hair Spray
- Tail Comb
- Start off again at the bottom of the head and section off a small section.
- Use the hairdryer with a nozzle to control the heat and a Denham brush to get right to the root of the hair.
- Slightly wet the hair. Blow-dry the hair straight down making sure the nozzle stays in contact with the hair at all times.
- Make sure each section is fully dry before moving onto the next. Repeat this process to whole head. When you start moving up the hair, use the paddle brush to dry as it gives a better finish.
- Once it is all dry, you can go over it with the straighteners to clamp all the hair together to prevent fly aways.
- Pull all the hair back with the paddle brush into a ponytail. The ponytail should sit diagonal with the eyes and edge of eyebrows.
- Spray some hairspray on your tail comb to control soft hairs around the head.
- Lastly add hairspray all over to finish the look.
