Day Face and Hair Charts

Face Chart

Here is my face chart for my day look.  I have chosen a brown smokey eye with a pink lip, with focus on the eyelashes.  I would like to use a blonde model for this look because it is a soft make-up and I think blonde hair will compliment this.

Step by step

Products

  • Micellar water
  • Daywear moisturiser
  • MAC Primer
  • MAC Studio Fix
  • Bobbi Brown palette
  • BrowZings
  • Nakes 1
  • Estee Lauder Sumptuous Infinite Mascara
  • MAC Highliter - Lightscapade
  • Illamasqua Disobey Contour
  • Illamasqua Ambition Blush
  • Kiko Lip Liner - 712
  • Estee Lauder Rebellious Rose Lipstick
  • Brush Belt

  1. Prep the skin with Garnier Micellar water and Estee Lauder Daywear moisturiser.
  2. Apply MAC Prep and Prime primer all over the skin.
  3. After matching the correct skin tone, apply MAC Studio Fix foundation all over the face with a buffing brush.
  4. Conceal blemishes and dark circles with the Bobbi Brown palette.
  5. Shade in the eyebrows with Benefit Brow Zings.
  6. Using the Naked 1 palette and a flat brush, apply the shade 'Naked' all over the lid shadowing out to 'Buck' at the edge of the eyes.
  7. In the crease of the eye use the shade 'Hustle' in a sweeping motion.  Apply the same colour on the water line with a pointy brush.
  8. Finish the eye with some Estee Lauder Sumptuous Infinite mascara.  Make sure to coat all the lashes to help them really stand out on camera.
  9. Highlight with MAC's Lightscapade on the cheekbones and down the nose.
  10. Contour with Illamasqua's Disobey under the cheekbones and the jaw line, buff this in so there are no harsh lines.
  11. Use the Illamsqua blusher Ambition on the apples of the cheeks and sweep out.
  12. Line the lips using Kiko's Lip Liner in 712.
  13. Finish the look with Estee Lauder's Lipstick - Rebellious Rose.
Hair Chart

Here are my hair charts, I decided to go for that relaxed look similar to my inspiration.  I would like a model with mid length hair because I think dead straight hair suits longer hair.  It will also be easier to show the relaxness off.

Step by step

Products
  • Hairdryer
  • Denham Brush
  • Paddle Brush
  • Straightners
  • Shine Serum
  • Water Spray
  1. Start off again at the bottom of the head and section off a small section.
  2. Use the hairdryer with a nozzle to control the heat and a Denham brush to get right to the root of the hair.
  3. Slightly wet the hair. Blow-dry the hair straight down making sure the nozzle stays in contact with the hair at all times.
  4. Make sure each section is fully dry before moving onto the next.  Repeat this process to whole head.  When you start moving up the hair, use the paddle brush to dry as it gives a better finish.
  5. Once it is all dry, you can go over it with the straighteners to clamp all the hair together to prevent fly aways.
  6. Lastly, finish with some shine serum on your fingers and run it through the hair.
