Method

1. Brush hair thoroughly, start at the bottom of the hair and section a medium section off
2. Wet down the section and add some mousse and salt spray.
3. Start drying the hair with the hairdryer, scrunching as you go.  Using the diffuser will help give a wavy beach look.
4. Repeat the process with each section of hair, making sure they are perfectly dry so the waves stay in.

Making into a Chignon

1. Keep two sections at the front of the hair out for later
2. Using your hands, pulls the hair back into a low pony tail at the nap of the neck and tie off with a hairband.
3. Roll the ponytail up and pin into place.
4. Use bun pins to separate the bun and pin into place using the same pins.
5. Twist or plait the side sections and pin into the chignon.
6. The idea of this hairstyle is to be a beach look messy chignon.
